Reviews Overview

Most Liked

Customers consistently praise the Ferrati pizza, hailed as one of the best around, rivaling even those found in Italy. The attentive service adds to the charm, with personal interactions making diners feel right at home. Many appreciate the lovely ambiance, which suits both romantic evenings and relaxed group gatherings. The specials board often delights regulars, offering surprising and fresh options. The great coffee and wine selection are also standout features, making it a popular choice for those looking to unwind with a delightful meal.

Most Disliked

Some guests mention the limited seating space, which can lead to a cozy but sometimes crowded experience, especially during peak hours. Additionally, while the food is well-loved, the waiting time for larger groups may be longer than expected due to the meticulous cooking process. A few diners have noted the restaurant's popularity might mean their favorite dishes run out by the time they arrive. Finally, while most find the prices reasonable given the quality, a handful of diners wish for slightly more affordable options on the menu.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful little family-run restaurant. We ordered a range of meals from the menu plus two specials from the diverse specials board for starters, mains and desserts (pictured was their delicious roasted sea bass), and everything was prepared swiftly and to great standard by what looked to be the one chef. Lovely music and service, smiles and love. And also VERY affordably priced in today’s economy, too! Thanks!! ❤️

Absolutely lovely restaurant, small independent ran by a lovely couple. Food is made fresh to order, with great recommendations. So nice to have service where you don't feel rushed and the staff talk to you. Now we live in the area it will definitely be on our regular list. Food was just delicious!

Second time I've been here, and I can honestly say it's the best pizza I've had ever..in the UK. Having lived in different parts of Italy when I was a teenager, I consider myself a bit of a connoisseur of pizza, and Via Verde's is amazing! In fact all the food I've had here has been gorgeous..right down to the bread in the basket! The couple who own it are very warm, chatty and personable, and go towards making this a fab place to eat. It's a smallish restaurant, but that makes it intimate. It's definitely my fave place to eat out. I'd recommend everyone to try this lovely little restaurant..it's well worth the visit! :)

Been here many times before food always good small but very friendly place food always excellent. Book early b because it gets booked up very quickly especially weekends, reasonably priced Back again Saturday when government allowed for bars/restaurants etc to open but please give them a bell because they now have limited seating arrangement again they don't fail to deliver on quality. Thank you Bridgette and Geoff.

It isn't a big restaurant but the foods are very tasty and good atmosphere. This place is always busy so you have to book in advance.
